Has THIP had an impact on your life?

Yes.  It’s been very interesting!  Encouraging and my husband and I plan to continue on this path.

My wife drug me here.  I felt our interest, study and experience over the last 40+ years was enough.  It has been very interesting and I have very much enjoyed interacting and sharing with everyone.  I especially enjoyed the ones on gut flora and fauna and mindfulness.

Have you experienced any health improvement?

Yes.  Increased sleep and energy levels.

My energy is seriously affected by chronic pain which is not diet amendable or related.  I have lost weight (15 lb!!)  which should help my knee pain some.

What would you like others to know about THIP?

Give it a try!  You will learn a lotl

How have you changed since starting THIP?

I’ve learned more about what fatty animal products do in our systems.  I lost weight!  My energy, sleeping patterns, the way I feel has not changed appreciably.  Our diet changed moderately:  almost no dairy, almost no meat.  And more of our usual fresh veggies, whole grains and legumes, lots of beans and rice, corn tortillas.  From mid-may thru oct, we have always lived off the garden, we have collards, kale, turnip greens, mustard, wild greens etc year around.  So it was a moderate change.
